[ Kit took a moment to process exactly what was going on. Usually he never let anyone do that, not Gale, not Peeta, no one. He looked up at him from where he watched him kiss and he licked his lips. Hand drifting onto Peeta’s shoulder and leaning back in to kiss him slowly but with a passion he really didn’t feel like he had before. ]
[ In the moments leading up to the kiss he had been worried he had been too forward. Kit had always been tense when it came to matters of affection. Here it felt as though Kit was blooming for him. Peeta moved a hand to the small of his back, nipping at his lower lip as the first kiss ended.]
